Dear Riley

Some goodbyes aren’t the end.

Riley was more than just a dog—she was my best friend, my constant, and the one I shared everything with. Even though she’s no longer here, I still find myself wanting to tell her about my day, my small wins, my struggles—just like I always did.

Dear Riley is my space to keep sharing my life with her, to process my grief, and to hold onto the love that will always exist between us . Each letter is a piece of my journey, written to her—one letter at a time— because love doesn’t just disappear when someone is gone.

I don’t know how often I’ll write, but whenever there’s something I wish I could tell her, I’ll be here.

If you’ve ever lost a pet who meant the world to you, I hope this space reminds you that their presence, their love, and their impact never truly leave.
